FIGMENT DESIGN RECOMMENDATION

A familiar spark.
More room to imagine.

The original Figment identity, the calm palette you chose, and children at the centre of the story. A working design reference for ages 5 to 12 and the grown-ups beside them.

Keep the Figment signature.

The four-point marigold star sits above the dotless i. Its shape comes from the existing brand asset. The wordmark keeps its navy colour and has no added punctuation.

Use this lockup as one piece. Keep clear space around it and use the supplied vector at every size.

A calm frame for colourful ideas.

Paper and forest carry the interface. Coral, sage and lilac belong in illustrations and selected surfaces. Marigold stays attached to the brand star. Put dark text on light accent colours.

What if your idea
became a story?
Bricolage Grotesque 800 / headings

Choose a world. Add a little detail. Change your mind. There is room to try again.

Plus Jakarta Sans 400 and 600 / reading and controls

Child reading text starts at 18px. Parent reading text starts at 16px. Short captions stay at 14px on activity screens.

Clear choices. Gentle feedback.

One clear next step. Large controls. A selected answer uses a border, a check and words so colour never carries the whole message.

Try a discovery Open a story

Try the sample choice. You can change your mind.

Children lead the picture.

Human characters make, explore and question. Animals appear when a story calls for them. An imagined creature is something a child creates.

A child with curly hair sits in a paper boat, looking up at a lavender moon.
A human protagonist gives the story a point of view.
A girl sculpts her own little coral character at a desk with clay and sketches.
The child is the maker. The creature is her creation.
Two children share a greeting beside a small globe and paper speech shapes.
Children discover language together. Objects remain objects.

Grow the choices with the child.

5 to 7

One instruction at a time. Picture-led choices. Read-aloud beside the prompt. Space for a grown-up to join in.

8 to 10

Short steps, visible progress and the freedom to edit. Ask the child to explain a choice in their own words.

11 to 12

More control over details and revisions. Keep the same respectful visual style and invite deeper questions.
